Dougall called up for Australia

He's been immense. He looks so comfortable, I am not afraid to say that I love a man and his name is Kenneth Dougall. He has the face and hair of a surfer but the mind and attitude of a pitbull. I hear tales of him practicing in his back garden after training, no doubt with a smile as wide as a slice of watermelon, the greatest Australian since "Toadfish" from Neighbours?. I wouldn't doubt it.
 
Fortunately all the games are in Kuwait so the journey isn’t so long. If he stays in the squad, tho, there’ll be a lot of action (and travel) for him next season
 
Well deserved, brilliant player all season. Another with a great work rate and attitude.

Excellent news, totally deserved. I'd have him in the England squad, better than Declan Rice! KD looked like he signed for us a bit reluctantly last October, wanted a Championship club, but it's worked out for him. His face after he scored against Oxford said more than words, he's more than happy now. And only 90 minutes away from being at a Championship club. It's a great boost for him being called up in the week of the play off final, might see a MotM performance from him.
 
We all love Kenny. Should passion on the pitch and gets really stuck in.

Imagine him as a player in the 80s - he’d have been in his element putting tricky wingers in the stand
 
he looks to be back to his best and is such an important player for us. i'm a huge fan and i'm sure he will cement his reputation with a cracking performance at wembley. the call-up is fully deserved and i hope this puts an extra spring in his step. well done to our very own king kenny.
 
Well earned, nice to get the recognition his performances have deserved. Hope he goes on the back of a Wembley win.

Could work in our favour. He’ll be delighted to be in the Socceroo’s set up and will want to keep himself in it. He’s a naturally very fit player (as all midfielders like him tend to be) and he’ll not lose any match sharpness over the summer like some players can do. Plus at international level he’ll be working with the very best sports scientists and physios with the very best facilities in the world. Whatever division we’re in come August he’ll be back at the club desperate to keep up his form.

Just got to hope he remains injury free.
 
I remember him laying this out as a target when he first came here, to earn his place in the Australia squad.

Well deserved from him, he had a massive impact when he came in and is one of the players that turned our season around.
 
Another reason promotion would be good - we're starting to gather quite a few players who next season could miss out due to internationals which means either we get games postponed in League One thus creating a backlog, we don't have enough players to get a game postponed which means we miss out on them or we get promoted and get the weekend off anyway!
