I don't think there was bias. Just didn't look ready or in control to me. Portsmouth had as many complaints about not being able to trust his judgement as we did. They made a half time sub to take a potential second yellow card out of it. And it became a bit of a lawless state in the second half.

There seems to be a complete lack of understanding rivalries. If you are from Ipswich you don’t referee Norwich games or vice versa same with Portsmouth and Southampton, Newcastle and Sunderland, Blackburn and Burnley etc.

Surely it’s not impossible to impose that restriction to avoid sabotage.

Proving bias is exceptionally difficult but a really stupid appointment by the EFL
 
Just been on the Barnsley forum all complaining about him - dished out 3 yellows to their players last night but none to Carlisle who were not the most pleasant to play against!
