Without doubt a legend and influential but never really got into Van Halen. Especially the ooh aah baby baby stuff over keyboards when Roth was sacked off. Hot for Teacher and Eruption I liked. He was obviously an insanely talented guitar player. RIP

Throat cancer apparently and the survival rate is terrible and I have been lucky so far,4 1/2 years on.
