Possibly the best Cold War / Ecology / Conspiracy thriller of the 80s. First aired in 1985.
If you were in your mid-20s then, you will understand.

With Bob Peck, Joanne Whalley and the incomparable Joe Don Baker with a host of other recognisable actors, incl an early role for Tim McInnerny (mainly before his role in Blackadder). Well worth your attention.

I remember it well. Very good although I am wondering whether it has aged well.

It's from the 80's so no it hasn't aged well, much like Robert Smith.
