I’ve tried all types, cheap supermarket, free range, organic, medium, large, very large etc, etc, and I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s no real difference in taste, the yolk colour might change, but it seems to me the cheap ones are ok. That is of course if you’re not worried about how the birds are treated.
Anyone else got any suggestions about the best eggs?
Btw, I’ve always wondered what the first person thought when he picked up an egg, it broke in his hand and it ran through his fingers. My reaction would have been ugh, he must have thought, I could drop it in boiling water and boil it, break it in boiling water and poach it, drop it in a pan and fry it, scramble it etc. genius.
