Pretty much, it's like players who don't feature in the squad, take Dom Thompson as an example, slated by all and sundry when he plays. It's because he would be decent as a wing back whereas he wasn't great as a full back.
His positional discipline at full back was problematic, where has his tendency to wander is actually potentially an asset in the system we're trying to play.
