Embleton

Have forgotten really that Embleton is even in our team such is the low impact he’s made on me but remembered what a decent player he can be last night and long may it continue.

He was one of the best players for us last night, I couldn't figure out where he was playing in the first 20 and then he came to life. Took up some great positions. Needs to work on his shooting as the majority of the time he's had a shot this season it's hit row z. We need to start hitting the target with these shots from outside the box. Other teams like Saturday seem to have joy against us from range.

He played well last night and has more ability on the ball than many others.

Yep. A ball player, like Apter. Does well when he gets time on the ball, which he did last night. Struggles against teams that press quickly, IMO.

A lot of players can struggle against a high press how much support you have round you makes a difference. Regarding Embleton the more minutes he’s getting is showing what a good player he is. Some on here need to give him more time.

Let’s hope he can kick on now, as his Pool career so far has been totally flat,he just seems so underwhelmed at being here, his body language is terrible, after the first goal he was the last to join the huddle even though Ballard ran towards him, he looks like he needs lots of TLC

Could not believe how unfit and rusty he appeared when he arrived but.....like the apparant "ground swell of opinion" he is once again showing the quality he undoubtedly has and it getting better every game.

I agreed he played very well last night👍

he arrived needing rehab and nursing in after a bad injury, he is a class footballer. He does have a good shot on him too, going wayward at the minute but he is getting his eye in. 2 assists in 2 games given a more suited role. But his crosses are better than all inc Evans. This 4213 formation could be the making of us and Embers, but 442 is not ideal.

Is it me or does he always seem a bit (no what's the politically correct way of saying this) chunky?

He needs to cement his place in the team as the playmaker,he has the ability but needs to deliver week in week out.He should never again be shunted on the wing

He's an intelligent footballer, on his way back to full fitness. He's not afraid to take a shot and he's been getting his eye in over recent weeks. When he is fully fit and some of those shots start hitting the net (second half of season) we will have a real, re discovered asset to watch.
