Emergency board meeting

Draw up a list of potential managers for league one, which I'm sure they've done. Act on it when it's mathematically impossible. Even tho its pretty obvious were not staying up its not over yet.

Changing managers now, as they say, like changing deckchairs on the Titanic. Might as well stick with one trick Mick and see who may be available between now and Seasons end. Then get the new man on board asap, give him time to sort out the chaff from the absolute s**t. Then begin the major overhaul. Sounds easy dunnit. 😁

I'm beginning to think we need the right man for the job.not Just an ex player that we all liked.
And seeing Luton towns results this last couple of seasons has me thinking we need someone like Nathan Jones,( I personally hate him with a passion) could he get us playing above ourselves like he did at Luton.
I would struggle to name more than a couple of their players but just look at their results.

Wouldn’t surprise me if someone has already been contacted and is already in place for next season, one thing I don’t want that some seem to want is the new guy in now, I completely disagree with that idea, we’re going down if we get a new guy in now and don’t win a game between now and the end of the season any half decent feel good factor has gone, get him in at the start of pre season clean slate, fresh start, new players, new ideas. Getting a new man in now would be a bad idea for me.

I'd love to know what the process was in appointing Macarthy, did they do any research on him at all, or ask him any questions about what he knew about the players. Or was it just he's a biggish name available.

I expect they thought he was available, cheap and he’d done well to save Cardiff in the past.

Actually, scratch that.
Most of our managerial appointments have been dire, when better options have failed to materialise

Let's be honest we need to start planning for league one now. Even the most optimistic must admit the odd shot on target per game is not going to bring us the 4 or 5 wins we need to stay up. Too many average players with no quality on the ball. To be honest I'm starting to feel sorry for quite a few of them as they are simply not good enough and probably don't deserve the abuse they get. Thompson looked upset with the fans at the end and I genuinely felt sorry for him as he put the effort in but he's miles off championship quality at present.

If they’re not having a board meeting, they must surely be talking about the situation, I can’t believe the just went home sayin see you Monday.

Waste of time same Lge 1 players and loanee hot or cold kids with a garbage midfield to pick from whoever was in charge.

Were they even there? Are they watching the same sh*t that everyone else is?
Even if they weren’t there and we’re watching, as you say, the same sh@t we were, you’d think they’d be having a serious conversation about it at the very least.
