Done a fantastic job with Chelski women, highly likely they'll win the WSL again.

Its known we approached her before Appleton was appointed but feel she will be up for a new challenge. Make us a positive club, again, in the eyes of the nation.

Get this season over and done and, Mr Sadler, make her an offer she can't refuse. This appointment will really put us at the forefront of being a truly progressive club.
 
My mate predicted this. Our smartarse board will go for something really different and appoint Emma Hayes or Sarina Wiegman. Can’t be any worse than the last two.

Sarina Weigman would be a fantastic appointment, dont know much about emma hayes but would either of them cost that much more than any experienced (lots of games but not necesarily losts of success) L1 or championship manager or a well regarded youth coach making the step up. Theres certainly no more risk that either the previous two types of appointment, and the media value alone of a weigman or hayes would be worth their salary.

It’s a good idea in theory but you only need to read this board to see the level of misanthropy amongst a certain section of our fans.
Two or three defeats and any ‘manageress’ would be quickly hounded out of a job.

A mens club will appoint a female manager one day, it's bound to happen but I personally wouldn't want it to be us.

I think it would be a disaster and never repeated, I just can't imagine a female manager of a mens football team getting the respect of a dressing room. I'm not saying that right by any means, I just can't see it happening.

I'd happily have a female manager. Most of the options for a manageress appeal a damn sight than the usual names floating around!

It’s only a day or so ago you confessed you were in tears because Raggy was waxing lyrical about BFC being special and unique.

You couldn’t get much more unique than appointing a female manager who succeeds in getting us promoted back to the Championship at the first attempt and into the PL within two seasons.

Add that to your BFC History pipe and smoke it 😘
