bizzare - this is 100% NOT a cricket decision ... they are not injured, perfomed ok in Oz... and Woakes has been picked ahead of them!!!

Another selection fiasco. Batting was the issue in Australia so let’s take the two most experienced bowlers out. All this about resting them etc, just play the best team.
 
Another frankly bizarre selection decision. If they’re fit you take them both and play them 2 games each. Anderson loves playing against the Windies. I was at Lords when he got his 500th wicket against them

Time to look to the future . . We have a decent number of quality seamers coming through so let’s give the likes of Fisher and Mahmood a chance. It’s the openers and spinner that are the problem. Let’s hope they make Foakes keeper and are brave enough to give Parky a go.

This is bolloooooooocks. You don't need to look to the future when they are still producing the goods.

I think the decision would make more sense if a) the rest can be relied on to stay fit and b) the 2 greats weren’t going to get brought back in the summer.
 
Disappointed Geoff Boycott is not in the squad. Need an anchor who can occupy the crease for a couple of days.😀🏏
 
Another badly handled decision that already points to a divided camp. We need to start winning some tests, winning is a habit and so is losing.
 
So it looks like Robinson will be the main bowler, which is right imo, with Wood/Woakes alongside, so only one of Mammy and Fisher will play in a 4 man pace type attack. Parky will have to do very well in whatever warm ups they have to get a start.

There's going to be a lot of pressure on whoever plays, purely because of the game times fit in nicely with media deadlines- no luxury of having a day before the papers get the headline knives out like in Aus.
