MEN reporting we’re interested in him again. No managerial experience but if he has similar qualities to Carrick and the guy at Ipswich (both Utd old boys) I’d be really happy to have him here.
Why would Dobbie, with a little managerial experience, be No 2 to a younger man with no managerial experience? Particularly when a lot of posters said they didn’t want Dobbie due to…. yes you guessed, no managerial experience. The one and only name that makes me wonder if Dobbie is the right choice but only with Dobbie as his No.2. The big D has earned his promotion. That's a peanuts pun there...
I understand what you’re saying, but my point was that Utd seem to be breeding some pretty good managers at the moment. Why would Dobbie, with a little managerial experience, be No 2 to a younger man with no managerial experience? Is that why they need to keep shipping their own managers in from abroad?I understand what you’re saying, but my point was that Utd seem to be breeding some pretty good managers at the moment.
Coz bigger club innit. Why would Dobbie, with a little managerial experience, be No 2 to a younger man with no managerial experience? Particularly when a lot of posters said they didn’t want Dobbie due to…. yes you guessed, no managerial experience.
The two managers I’ve mentioned have got a team in the Championship Play Offs and a team promoted from League 1.Is that why they need to keep shipping their own managers in from abroad?
We have a budget miles below either of those. We need someone who can work within our financial constraints. The two managers I’ve mentioned have got a team in the Championship Play Offs and a team promoted from League 1.
Because it’s still a promotionWhy would Dobbie, with a little managerial experience, be No 2 to a younger man with no managerial experience? Particularly when a lot of posters said they didn’t want Dobbie due to…. yes you guessed, no managerial experience.
He may not think so, and I wouldn’t either.Because it’s still a promotion
Forget about age Ramsay has a very impressive CV as a coach, probably superior to Critchley. If we could tempt Ramsay it would be a major coup for Blackpool, Dobbie would still have a role to play. Depending on how things go Dobs would be ready to step in somewhere down the line. Why would Dobbie, with a little managerial experience, be No 2 to a younger man with no managerial experience? He’s current manager of the development squadHe may not think so, and I wouldn’t either.
His opinion is the only relevant one and will have the benefit of being informedHe may not think so, and I wouldn’t either.
I’m not debating the minutiae. The point is if he doesn’t get the gig, which he deserves, he will move elsewhere and I wouldn’t blame him. He’s current manager of the development squad
Assistant manager of the first team is a promotion
If his football is as entertaining as Critchley’s and his loyalty is as strong, that would be yet another managerial mistake.Dobbie, if he was appointed, at least knows what he would be buying into. However that’s not mine, or your, decision to make. It’s up to the man with a marvellous history of managerial appointments.Forget about age Ramsay has a very impressive CV as a coach, probably superior to Critchley. Which was probably quoting some speculative source on here.MEN quoting The Mirror which was quoting … The Gazette.
