Eriksen to Brentford

A no brainer for both parties really. The player gets high quality facilities to try and get back to fitness in a controlled and professional environment and the club get the goodwill provided by 'giving him a chance' whilst potentially getting a world class talent.

I'd love him to play again, although I suspect it's a long way off (it at all).

Eriksen's desperate to play in the World Cup. Good luck to him, it would be a great post script if he made it.

What swung it for Brentford was the personal relationship with Thomas Frank - he worked with Eriksen while managing Denmark's youth team.

I'd like to know if an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator has been worn by an elite athlete before? Serie-A don't allow them.

Hope all goes well for him. I do wonder if it may have an affect on the Brentford physio and his teammates psychologically, especially in the first few matches.

Just a reminder, this is when we signed Beattie, Reid and Kornilenko 😐

(...and Puncheon on loan but he was at least decent!)
