Eu flag in Scotland

Yep, she’s an awkward wee laddie, that’s for sure. Unfortunately she seems to revel by her ability to cause unnecessary nuisance.

Despite the media trying to whip up a storm, I think I’d be inclined to just ignore her and let her fly the flag. In reality it’s all a bit embarrassing for her and I’m not convinced there’s anything to be gained by challenging her....

Continuing to fly the flag is just going to look increasingly desperate over time, whilst the rest of us move on.

Yes but the Labour Party in Scotland should be all over this to try to be relevant

You read the Guardian and you voted to remain. Your words!
I’m not entirely sure what my reading the Guardian has to do with me ‘voting for what she wants’ (which btw, is primarily Scottish independence).

You’re right though, I did vote to remain in the EU. I also accept the democratic process and have therefore moved on.

Let's stop free prescriptions and free school/universities that we the English pay for...so I say fuck off Scotland

Not anti-British at all. I do, however, find it more than faintly ridiculous that some people on here get so het up by flags and symbols

Personally I think that she is doing this to distract attention from the Salmond affair, why do this precisely now is a question worth asking? She knows that this sort of thing will get a few in the media frothing and it may keep the truth about the Salmond thing from surfacing or at least off the front pages. She may well have broken the law, she could be looking at a prosecution and if so she would certainly have to step down. And for Nicola, with independence within touching distance it would be a disaster both personally and for the nationalist cause.
