Eurovision

Hold it at Stanley park in the summer and open the airport. Just a thought.

Manchester arena it's going not many indoor venues are able to host the event so put your money on there.

We haven't got a venue big enough for Eurovision. Would love to see it here though, so long as Blackpool ratepayers are not funding it.

Would be great to use the tower ballroom or empress ballroom for eg.

Also there is a venue that can hold more than 10k....

BFC.... its in May after the season then could be done.

I saw that Glasgow were odds on to be the host last week, I don't know why and I don't know if they are still jollies.

Didn’t even mention Blackpool on this mornings BBC news who covered a story about the Eurovision.
Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Aberdeen the only ones mentioned.
Clearly the lack of a 10,000 seat indoor arena and an international airport didn’t get Blackpool through to the final stages.
Announcement tomorrow on who’s won.

It'll be Manchester

Sadly they dont have an international airport.... (they do however have a place to rip you off while not doing what they are paid for, while you stand in a queue to get in a queue, then have very rude staff, tell you loudly & arrogantly to take liquids out of your bag, even when you dont have any!!)

Last years Eurovision was a farce.
UK should have won that, it was given to Ukraine because of their current problems.

Good to see no London, despite Sadiq Khan saying it has to be London.
I think Leeds or Sheffield could do with the exposure more , so either of them for me👍

Though in reality I’m not remotely bothered.
