Every…single…game

We’re away from home to one of the best sides in the Division… we’ve given a very good account of ourselves.

We restricted them to fuck all if we’re being honest about it.

CJ should have put his opportunity away at the back stick.

It’s not often I come out of a ground after a defeat feeling this upbeat. Continue to play like that and we’ll beat most sides in this league comfortably.
A different excuse every week. It's turgid, boring negative shite.

FFS Some of you lot behaving like spoilt kids.
Watched it in my Hotel room in Los Angeles and feeling that we put in a good performance. Separated by a wonder goal.
Not much between the sides and good to see Joseph back.
We both had equal chances and If Dembele had put that chance away could have been a different story.
A wonder goal? Really? Yet again I thought Grimshaw could have done better. It was at the other end though so I'll watch the highlights later.

I’m wondering if we’ve adjusted our training regime to try and cut back on the injuries we suffered in the last few seasons and the result is that fitness is suffering because we just don’t seem to have 90 minutes in us. We have to strike a balance though. If we don’t make the most of the time we are on top, teams will just let us wear ourselves out and come back at us in the second half because we’re so predictable at the moment.
If we don't have the fitness for 90 mins he should use subs earlier. We're allowed 5 ffs

We never looked like winning today, they did look like winning and they then scored and won. That's not two good teams going at it, it's one good team beating a plucky defensive display from an average team

Wasn’t a shocking performance at all.Get a grip
wasnt an inspiring one either. It was very close, they were cautious, we were cautious, bit of a non entity of a game, a couple of mistakes in our defence (again) and we get punished.

i think we missed Dougal today, he has a tendency to see passes out of our defensive third that Norburn just doesn't see and Dougal reads the game better.

Thompson was a bit anonymous so we ended up playing a bit lop sided again today. Thought Morgan had a decent game but he and Norburn were getting in each others way quite a lot. Marv was ok, did what Marv does, had one bambi moment but managed to squeeze out a free kick from it.

some truly bizarre officiating again.

Well we can’t be that bad if we are only 3 points off the play offs and can’t play well for a full game!

The 352 is not working at all. The build up is too slow and the opposition have all of their bodies back by the time we eventually get into the final third. He changed from 433 to 442 in his first spell when he realised it wasn’t working. I get the impression that he won’t deviate from 352 which will be his downfall.

Great summary was a 0-0 or 1 goal wins it type of game so coming away for toughshit was despondent about today's performance.

Like the mysterious ways that God moves in, we must have faith in the absolute genius of Coach Critchley and his coachtastic new clothes.

He’s so good his tactics are capable of bending space-time

On a serious note. Stop ringing the ticket office to ask how many we’ve sold. Not what the staff are paid for. Can’t take anything you say seriously

Agree a game of 2 half’s yet again but why is it so difficult not to put a full shift in for 90 minutes?
Because we’re a League One football team in a state of rebuilding. Teams who are on it for 90 minutes straight cost serious money these days, they are top athletes sourced worldwide with very sophisticated facilities, top backroom staff, advanced sports science knowledge…

Good Game of football for me.. Two good sides. Nothing much in the game at all…To say they were miles ahead in the second half doesn’t reflect what I saw tbh.
Same here. I thought we were actually the better team throughout . We are a work in progress and things are now starting to come together. Some of us can see what you are trying to do Neil and I can see that with a couple of additions we will progress as quickly as in our last promotion season.
Keep the faith.

I did wonder if someone would blame Thompson when Husband had the chance to clear it a second before he did a pass to nowhere which gave Thompson absolutely no options.
Indeed, and it was to Thompson's weaker foot (pros should not have a weaker one but most do), but 2nd half Evo earnt his corn as they changed to hunting in pairs and we didn't adjust.

I imagine BFCx3 has had enough of Critch. He's only on the wind up with his "I love Critch" posts to egg a load of happy clappy types along. It's funny.
Quite the contrary, I shudder in complete disbelief at the complete ignorance and negative drivel that gets posted on here though.

I’m sure he won’t, but I really hope that Simon doesn’t pay any attention to these buffoons and sticks with Critchley for as long as it takes.

I thought we played okay but best we were going to get was a 0-0 which I would have taken. Once they scored it was game over, their keeper had nothing to do all game.

We were in the contest throughout but we didn’t create anything. I’m sorry but if I drop a few quid going to watch my team I want to see something… an opportunity, a chance, let’s at least test their keeper.

It was ** garbage today, you can’t dress it up as anything else.

Thought we edged the first half but Bolton miles better second
Again Critch far far too slow with the substitutions. Morgan was blowing 15 mins before he came off. Bolton had made two subs in the time it took Critch and Garrity to work out one of ours.

The system results in us being in games but it also results in us being far too slow to progress up the pitch. Too many sideways passes. Even then everything is out wide and predictable. Very safety first approach. We will end up mid table if nothing changes when in reality we should be in the top two or challenging for the top two.

We have to get used to the fact that Sadler would use Critchley’s shit for toothpaste. He isn’t going anywhere, 2 seasons minimum unless we get relegated. He’s a dull owner and Critchley is an Uber dull manager with the charisma of a brick. I have no idea why so many rate him. The trouble is if he was potted, Sadler is so shirt at choosing managers and so touchy about how supporters perceive him if he is criticised that any new manager would be worse.

We are a top 12 side and likely to finishe anywhere between 6th and 12th, we are not a 1st to 5th place team but with the players we have we should be. We should never ever have gone back, it rarely works and it smacks of an owner totally lacking in creativity, if you look up dull in the dictionary it says Sadler and Critchley, we should ditch the tangerine shirts and wear grey.

Wait until the end of the season and see where we are and many will have changed their opinion by then. You can’t win games by being the better side for 20 minutes every game.

Did you even watch the game?

No, you didn't.

But still you bang on with your anti-Sadler/Critchley campaign.

No shots on target is truly abysmal, his negative tactics continue, with the squad we have, we should comfortably be in the top six.
Don't care what the stats say, but we had two headers on target one of which was blocked with a raised arm.

For what it's worth, and clearly against closed minds, we were the better team in the first half, controlling midfield and created a few half chances that didn't quite fall for us.

Second half, they started to gain control but didn't look like scoring particularly until Husband sold Thompson short and we gave away possession, leading to them scoring with a decent strike.

After that, they sat back and we huffed and puffed without any decent ball into the box, although we had a couple of scrambles and a blocked header from Carey that was goalbound.

They looked a decent enough side, but I'm not sure either side deserved to win.

I'm not getting the 'we were shite' at all. We weren't.

Critchley’s first spell here, the most productive times were when Calderwood & then McCall were along side him.
Promote Dobbie to assistant or at a minimum the attackers coach.

But again he doesn’t vary it. We know what’s going to happen, and so do the opposition. We’re too predictable.
We haven’t got Pele , Maradonna and Cruyff on the bench itching to handle the ball home

Everybody has screamed for Dembele’s to start a league game. He does and we don’t even score

Just keep the spirit going (terrific turn out today) things can still get better and the squad is nearly fullyfit again

I think you have this pretty much spot on .

Certainly wasn’t shocking at all. Both teams bang average imo.

Yes they are bang average. And played a game less than us. And are 11 points ahead of us. And have a goal difference 11 better than us.

So they are averaging a lot better than we are for an average side in an average League One.

I think we have to look at our coaching style as being below average
