I'm currently on holiday in the Caribbean and have tried to log into one of those IPTV sites with a view to getting the Preston game on my phone

Then I dawned on me that Tangerine TV is available for those abroad. I'm guessing you just register as normal (as i already have) and the internet provider will show I'm out of the UK and the game should stream ?

I'm guessing the Preston game will be available for streaming for those out of the UK

Cheers

Yes. Balls to IPTV, support the club if you can.

That ought to work. I'm on the season subscription so I can't comment on buying individual matches, but I can't see why it would be any different. Sometimes the services that are really serious about restricting access by location will stick cookies in your browser to identify your machine as being in a certain location - this can be used to try and thwart VPN users. So if it doesn't work at first, clear your cookies or use a browser that you don't typically use to access TTV.

I was in Tenerife the other week.
sat on the balcony, beers ready, sun was out.
I already subscribe to Tangerine TV.
Tried to log on to the Barnsley game at 2.40. No joy, no link.
Clicked a link through the clubs Twitter for fans abroad and still no link.
Frantically searched online for a link prior to 3pm and no joy. Couldn’t even get a radio link. Ended up listening to 5live.

I would try and subscribe to the match as soon as it’s availabl, if no joy get to the nearest bar and bribe the owner.
Good luck 🍊

It automatically recognizes you as abroad but make sure the wifi is good as it uses more bandwidth than iFollow.

I think if you log in with your UK TTV account even though you are abroad it thinks you are a UK customer.
When I've watched from overseas I've created a new account and it works perfectly.

No, should work if you're abroad even if you have a UK subscription.

If you have any issues mind, they'll not respond to emails.

Thanks for the advice guys

Fingers crossed it works. I only worry the free WiFi might not he up to scratch, but it's only a tenner I guess if it doesn't play well

Watch in NZ on a seasons subscription and love it. Only had 1 issue where we missed most of the first half at Bournemouth (not a bad thing) the rest has been excellent. I don't think we can watch the QPR game because of international TV rights.

Set up a new account and register an address in the country you are in.

Your credit card will still work even though it is a different address, as they use a very low level of authentication.

I used my partner's details just in case for my t/tv season pass and a Walmart address in Chicago 😉
Put my payment details in the same as last season on iFollow and it works flawlessly with my VPN.

I think you have to click on tangerine tv again and then go to match centre to get the game, it doesn't just come up as you'd expect.

Have used all over the place with good results ..big failure re Blackburn, but complained and was refunded fast and replied to within a couple days.
What was the problem? I ordered the game on the Friday before the game in Portugal and when I logged in on Saturday (still in Portugal and on the same device) there was no option to play it. So I listened to audio instead. Complained to Tangerine TV and they said no-one else had problems so they would not refund.

We looked in to this when we're away for 2 weeks in November and I think the problem is you can only get an annual pass on the PPV games are limited to midweek.

That's not my experience but I maintain what I said earlier about setting up a different account when you are overseas and don't use your UK account.

Would have thought it would know off the IP address but I will do that next time I’m away. Thanks.
if I hadn’t started drinking I’d have driven to the Palm Bar.
