I emailed the SLO and got a reply saying he would look into it a couple of weeks ago.

I have since sent a couple of follow up emails and do not even think I have had a response to them

@SLO_BFC said he was going to bring it with the media team a week or so ago - radio silence since, including no reply to multiple emails.

I went looking for browser extensions that could fix things. This one looks promising:

Global Speed

Set a default speed for video and audio.

chrome.google.com

Haven't tested it but if we get the audio ahead of video again this says it has a feature to impose an audio delay on any Chrome tab that's playing video.
