Looks like 2024 is going to be another bore fest with Red Bull/Verstappen dominating. Some drivers have commented they will be around a second quicker come the first race on Sunday!

There's currently a power struggle going on there though, Horner is replaceable but he might drag Newey down with him, then they're in trouble.

It will be interesting to see how that pans out for sure. Even if Newey did go though, annoyingly he looks to have already built another good F1 car with an excellent foundation to build upon, so the team wouldn't find it too hard to implement further upgrades i shouldn't think. With that being said, I can't stand Red Bull or that snake Horner, so i do hope this is the start of their demise!!

Really?

Far Superior car’s and drivers (Verstappen) I think Donald Duck could manage the team this season and they’d still romp home.

I think he’s superior in that car no one can get anywhere near him as we’ve seen the last 2 seasons.
Yes I know he’s won 3 on the bounce but 3 seasons ago it was very close indeed as we all know.
I think this season is going to be the same again I’m afraid.

Yeah,but we'll see if he can win in a slower car.

Is he getting one? 🤷‍♂️

Of course he’s not going to win anything in a different/slower car but formula one is about the car/team as well as the driver and right now (and I know you don’t like me keep saying it) but he’s the number one and he’s going to be around for years yet and will probably go on the break the 7 times world record.

I think being handed his first title gave him an unearned confidence boost and a championship. Not his fault

We know that RB broke the cost cap rules for title 2, which allowed them more time to develop the car for title 3. Again not his fault.

To be the beneficiary of some extraordinary good luck to win 3 titles kind of puts him in the not quite sure how good he actually is, category.

Although, he is miles better than anyone they put in the sister car.

I still think his head goes the moment he is under pressure; so I'd love to see whether that's the case after being given such an advantage for the last couple of seasons or whether he's calmed down.

It is going to take a monumental effort from his team mate (although I think they favour MV) or the other teams - and I don't see it happening this season.

Adrian Newey meanwhile is an absolute genius who I would love to be working on behalf of the nation rather than for a sports company.

Imagine the stuff he could design for mobility, hospitals, military etc.
