FA Cup

Funny isn’t it, just shows what 20 odd seasons outside the top division does to a club, all ITV can bang on about is Brian Clough. Arial shots of the City Ground also shows its a bit of a hotch potch of stands too. Still, the home fans are generating a good atmosphere which comes over well on the telly. Last point, how have Liverpool made a simple White and Black away kit look so vile?

The Liverpool kit looks kind of magnolia, maybe vanilla?
Strange.

Wonder if the Florest fans were on their message board this afternoon saying they should be beating teams like Liverpool?

Sitter missed at one end, and then Liverpool score. Offside but given on by VAR because the defender's shoulder played him on.

VAR is killing football. Aside from the interminable waiting for a decision, I've seen offside by a toe, a thumb, an ear...and now an elbow.

I dont know why anyone is surprised that a VAR decision is given the way of Liverpool rather than a championship team. Its just an excuse to give a second referee a chance to give a decision the way of the big team.

It always used to be 'Lucky Arsenal', but over the last few seasons, Liverpool have took over that mantle especially with Klopp's whingeing.

Having said that Liverpool are a very good side, even more so when the BackpassMeister isn't playing.

If that penalty shout was the other way round, Liverpool get it.
Never a penalty.

It wasn't offside and it wasn't a penalty.

Not sure why people are crying over it. Yes in real time it looked offside, it wasn't as proven.

No. Because the rule is a part of the body you can score with. You can't score with an arm. Should be measured at the shoulder if that part of the body is furthest back.
But its not measured at the shoulder, therefore it's onside, regardless of your opinion of it.

Wasn't a penalty either.

Nothing further to discuss. Maybe write to the FA and point out that your opinion is correct, in your opinion
