As we can't make today's game, we're watching Fylde live on the red button.
It's 0-0 at half time and albeit the itch is bumpy, the standard is really poor, with long balls and no midfield. Daniel Philliskirk is doing next to nothing and Andy Taylor has to sort his team out during the break.

Yep 1-1 got out of jail.
Congleton should have scored near the end, when it was 1-0, and they'd have won the game.
Fylde must be favorites to win the reply on their pitch.

Been a lot of talk about him lately .. worth a gamble?
Was he with us at one point - or was there a defender with the same name .. left back?
No never played for us but was at the Cods 2014-2018.
As a midfielder he only really started to bag the goals in last couple of seasons at Fylde but carry on as he is he’ll end up on someone’s radar that’s for sure.

Yes let's sign a player who's in the sixth tier of football at 28 years of age that will go down well with our fans at the mo, it's the same idiots who where blowing smoke out of Danny Rowe's arse we should sign him that turned out well not.

I wouldn’t worry I seriously doubt Mansford would get a done deal for him over the line.

Like the six we've signed this summer with the lad from Leicester who played well yesterday for 750,000 and plenty of youth players then?

Four loans I know but they where Preston's best three players last season and the system helped Forrest get promoted.

People need to stop posting shite about Mansford which is just Avftt guesswork at best.

Mansford is responsible for where we are right now not Appleton.
If Appleton had his way we’d have had 3-4 players in the side who can score goals and right now in case you haven’t noticed that’s our problem unable to score goals.
For the record I’ve never been negative once towards the young lads we’ve signed on loan but let’s get real here it’s far easier signing these young lads who can’t get in their own clubs starting line ups than proven/experienced players who we do seem to have a problem in signing.
I actually feel sorry for Appleton if I’am being honest let down so many times by failing to be backed.

Yet we've four strikers on the books and Appleton prefers to play just one up top who from what I've seen play better in a two.🤷

Critch wouldn't have brought in no more than 4 or 5 yet we've brought in 6!

The problem is the model we wanted to work with not Appleton or Mansford that has been set in place between the owner and board.

It works with clubs as the top of the pyramid where you appoint a head coach then whatever players you have they use and maybe bring in a couple but not further down.

We had 26 contracted players on the books when MA took over but a new coach will have new systems, not like certain players etc and the lateness of his appointment did us no favours.

Any failures this season are down to Neil Critchley it was his squad and players and the model of head coach.

Maybe the issues are deeper than we think then?
I can’t see how anyone can blame Critchley personally for the start we’ve had to be honest we sold our best player by a country mile on the final day of the window and replaced him with a young kid (if he is his replacement) so who are we pointing the finger at for that?
