We posted about this very recently, but fans may wish to be aware of the article we wrote for the Gazette today.
As the Gazette say, we were campaigning about the need for independent regulation as long ago as 2018. Over four years later, the problems around ownership, finance and fan engagement remain as deeply entrenched now as they were then.
Our view is that the case for reform is unanswerable, and these days that view is widely held. We are confident that reform will come, but now it is the extent of it and the speed at which it happens that is at issue. As the article says, your voice counts whether you are a member of a supporter organisation or not ; but together we are stronger and more influential than we are when we act alone.
