Fans, atmosphere and tickets

Tonight second half and Forest game have been the best atmospheres by far this season despite having at least half the attendance of a league game. Give me these 3,000 hardcore attendances over the usual any day of the week. Had a massive difference on the pitch and created probably my two favourite games of the season so far. I know people have different reasons for not going and it’s a hard month but if you couldn’t be arsed you missed a brilliant game and atmosphere.

And getting out at the end is 10x quicker.

Cups can always have exiting moments as it's knockout football.

If we get those sort of moments in the league with a full house it would be even better.

100% right, having only 1,500 more home fans than Bolton tonight was a bloody awful effort. Every credit to the fans who had the place rocking against Forest and second half tonight.

I think there’s an argument that the people in the ground for the last two home games in the cup (bar for long distance travelllers) have all been bang up for it and aren’t negative dullards and all actually enjoy backing the team. It’s 100% made a difference on the pitch.

The North Stand was brilliant.

That was class tonight & I sincerely hope the Firestick supporters branch enjoyed listening to that gimp Ian Chisnall. A perfect match 🤝🏼

I hope we go all the way as some clearly need their excitement for Cup competitions reigniting.

Tbf we haven't always excelled in cups in recent times, but have had some better moments in the last few years.

I thought the atmosphere on Saturday for the Charlton game was up there with the best all season. I had a bad hangover and it was ** loud in the North. It actually got quite annoying.

LAST was brilliant i absolutely think we are a really good one game shootout side. We had to leave about five minutes before the end because of parking.Well my soins car actually. Listened to the pen shootout on the way home. Our mentality was superb . omg heasring the shoot out was briiliant. I know it would have been better seeing it but i got the best of both. And it was my birthday.

Suppose you're never guaranteed that - could've been as flat as a pancake and a shit match - what I do think it will do though is help ticket sales in February.

Over 5k is better than most the league crowds under the 0’s before going up to the championship. Not bad for a Mickey Mouse trophy

I said the same
Remember us getting a season high of 5800 on Boxing Day v Halifax back in the 80s and thinking it was a decent crowd - there were some seasons we never got anywhere near that
