I met Simon this week and he told me he's actually a Nobber and he's invested all this time and money in BFC just to piss us off.

I’m getting my Wembley hotel booked now for May 24. Foooking love promotion seasons. Way more fun than mid table mediocrity. 👍
 
It's well documented the he paid £10 million for the club.
The losses during COVID were reported and confirmed by the club to be £4.8 million.
I would assume SS would cover the majority of that debt, being the owner.
 
In no way am I comparing the Character of Sadler to either Oyston Snr. Or Jnr. But once down how are we in any way better than before the takeover. We have some minor maintenance done and nice talk about a new training ground? The road to hell is paved with good intentions and from the hiring of managers to players we’ve been naive and that is putting it politely.

Can you show me one of these documents? Assume is not a fact. He got money for being in the championship, Critch compensation and Bowler money. He then wasted time and money appointing Appleton and then having to give him money for firing him after giving him a four year contract.

Mccarthy said himself he had applied for loads of jobs in the last 15 months since he was sacked at Cardiff, he said he never got even an interview and was beginning to think he had been retired. Anyway up came the short term opportunity at Blackpool, not even a competitive interview, as only McCarthy was interviewed. I think McCarthy has come cheap as he was desperate for another opportunity and he also has a big performance related bonus in his Blackpool contract which will only be paid out if we avoid relegation.

Edit to say.

Type in. How much did Simon Saddler pay for Blackpool FC.....the answer comes up as if by magic at £10,000,000.
Then type in, How much did Blackpool FC lose during the COVID pandemic......and hey presto the article comes up stating £4,800,000.....

Simple, simple.

There are quite a few on here that I would not want in the trenches next to me.
Things go badly under our new owner for the first time and they start snivelling immediately.
Show some backbone. Grow up.

3. Currently, we are a yo-yo club - between the Championship and League 1.
4. If you are old enough to remember our wreck of a club in the 80s and 90s, be thankful.
5. After the Stains were manoeuvred out we were fortunate to get Sadler
6. There are long term plans for improvement with the town council on board for the first time in decades.
7. Remember the homecoming against Southend? We are better than then. And where are Southend today?
8. If you really want to see the extremes of football fortune with mismanagement in the NW, go and follow Oldham Athletic or Stockport County or, dare I say it, Bury. And there are plenty more over the years... Darlington, Hereford, Chester, Southport, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Notts County, York etc whose fans would like to be in our position now.
Rochdale are about to go non-league for the first time in their 116-years history (last 102 years in the league) if they can’t make up a 6 point gap.

Without him the club would be another Bury car crash of a club because that is what Koko wanted....and was doing to the club.

Without you the club would carry on.
 
Big mistake, and a waste of funds, putting MM in charge.
Might as well just have kept MA in. Who I didn't want in the first place anyway.
