FAO - Those with interests in kit - Luton Town 23/24 - NOT Orange vs Tangerine….

Without wanting to get involved in the whole a) ‘shades of orange/tangerine’ borefest, & b) the morals of betting sponsorship, which have been discussed at length elsewhere, I have to say that whilst prior to this season, Puma have done a decent job in previous seasons, I can’t help but think this season’s kit designs are a tad feeble, especially the ‘More tea, Vicar?’ home shirt.

Not sure of my tech ability to attach pics on here, so a quick Google will illustrate, but must admit to thinking the new ‘Umbro’ design for Luton this season, both H & A, is outstanding (Admittedly with a large nod to the Admiral kit of the ‘70’s) - & leaves us a little wanting….

Would look so much better with a BFC badge on us!

Not really been a fan of any of Puma's kits since we've had them but it doesn't bother me as I don't buy them.

Umbro producing more Prem kits than any other manufacturer this season - why so is open to speculation, but ours seem to have been sourced to the Puma YTS this time - maybe a L1 thing….?

My interpretation of tangerine was formed by our respective shirts in my first season of supporting BFC in the mid-70s; Luton had an orange shirt with a thick white line down one side whereas our tangerine masterpiece was a shade lighter, with those wonderful Umbro diamonds down the sleeves.

if they brought back our Umbro kit from the late 70s id buy one.........and I haven't bought myself a BFC top since, well, the late 70s.......the Walsh, Ainscow, Spence era.

Really like the Luton home shirt.

Think we have missed a trick given the 100 years in Tangerine. We could have done a one off limited edition tangerine and black kit as per 1923.

There is no doubt that Blackpool's home kit has been a failure ,with no thought put into it what so ever .I also like the Luton kit and believe that this is the way of the future with most teams having at least two or three colours mixed in with the main kit colour. I did like the Blackpool kit that had the tangerine with the white sleeves . I felt that was a bit different at the time.
