Ffs

Can you imagine how the 5600 Middlesbrough fans feel tonight. Or the Northampton fans that have traveled to Barrow win and still miss out because Rovers score 7 for the first time since the 60s. This is football and it’s why we love it so much.

Also to add,

I have watched and attended live sport for most of my 51 years on the planet.

What I have learnt is that you have to watch an absolute load of rubbish very often to catch the one performance of brilliance.

If you don't watch the rubbish you don't see the great as it's generally unpredictable when it will happen.

Anyone who wants a refund is just wrong in my opinion - if you want a refund now will you be happy to pay double when we play well?

It’s a disappointing end to a very positive season - we all know that! 🤪

But to turn on the team & staff is pathetic - we’ve consolidated our Championship status, under an ownership & management regime that I wouldn’t swap for any.

Bring on 22/23! 😀👏

Some fannies on here.
This post now on Facebook ffs.
I made a spur of moment remark after today's match and big Karen has turned it into a big drama ffs.
Fannies.
I stayed til the end as usual and clapped the team off the pitch.
Some of you have nothing better to do.

No refunds please. I bought 5 tickets today and was proud to cheer on the club for what has been an amazing couple of years. Today was shocking - but I've seen worse since I started going 52 years ago. And in all that time I've never known such positivity around the club and such a bond between everyone. Seeing Gabriel interacting with all the fans today said it all. What a top man. So today was rubbish we can all agree, but onward and upward. UTMP.

Well if it’s a wind up you can guarantee a load of pissed off and pissed up people will get the wrong end of the stick.
Like Karen.
Not our Karen.
Where’s Jackie Weaver when you need her? 😬😵‍💫

You started the drama though?

yesterday wasn’t good enough, and was the first time critch has questioned the lads
Application and desire. The op never stated he wanted a refund, it was others who brought up a refund.

When you buy a ticket for football and other sports you’re paying to witness unscripted drama.
And that's what captivates us.

There's a template for a superhero movie...
Hero discovers superpowers.
Hero delights in superpowers.
Hero clashes with baddie.
Baddie brings hero to the edge of death.
Hero recovers, defeats baddie, saves love interest.

But with sport, there is no predetermined plot, anything can happen.
You approach a game with hope - but it can bring joy or disappointment, no-one knows.
It's the best type of drama.
That's why we love it.

It was a poor performance but a one off no more than that. It was disappointing and felt a very long journey back but the manager and players have taken us a very long way in such a short period and the future looks good.
