Brexit, the only bonus I can see so far, is that a United Ireland is now closer than ever.
Just one more Project Fear topic slowly turning into reality. Most people, especially down South, don't know much about Northern Ireland's position within the UK anyway so won't even realise what's happening.Brexit, the only bonus I can see so far, is that a United Ireland is now closer than ever.
It's the border in their heads that's the problem.I think a united Ireland will happen, but not for 20 years or more by which time all things Brexit will have changed.
It's all a bit rich from the DUP + mates that they have 40% of the parliament yet want to dictate to the majority by not taking their seats. Even richer when you think they supported the Gov who brought the Irish Sea border in (or do we think that was for show and the DUP were told it would be ripped up later).
How can they do this at the expense of helping those on NHS waiting lists, those having to eat from Foodbanks and the kids without the help they need, in and out of school? All over very little in reality.
A border between goods or a border between goods and people and daily lives.
