Fiorini & Rhys Williams (potentially)

Just a random bit of info.
One of my closest friends is a season ticket holder at Man City and has had one since 1993 (like me with Blackpool).
I asked him about Fiorini on the off chance he’s been mentioned as a potential for the first team.
He told me that Fiorini is class and just needs game time. Reckons he might be one of those who plays in cup games etc, as he’s hardly gonna shift KDB out the side!😂

Considering how many players city have in their ranks, I’m impressed.

Sounds like we’ve got ourselves a quality player here. 🍊

Edit:
Also I’ve heard of Williams, he’s played a few games for Liverpool in the first team and I remember he did look decent.
Sounds odd how he suffered with a bad loan spell at Swansea. Perhaps it’s because it was too far from home and he didn’t want to live there during the period of his loan spell.
We’ll see, and this has come from Nixon so take it with a pinch of salt for now.

Also I’ve heard of Brewster, he’s played a few games for Liverpool in the first team and I remember he did look decent.

Brewster’s been at Sheff U for two years now. Think they bought him for around 19 million quid and he’s majorly flopped there.

I’d be amazed if he came to us. Must be on circa 20-30k p/w

Do you mean Rhys Williams ?

Brewster has really stalled in his career at the Blades. He was red hot in an England youngster shirt and Klopp at one stage expected him as the 4th striker option.

Doesn’t make him a bad player overnight - as we know, it’s often about the formation and confidence, particularly for strikers.

He won’t get Blades money elsewhere so maybe it’s time for realism for the kid?

Does anyone remember if Rhys Williams played in the behind closed doors game at Liverpool’s training ground against us. I know Jerry , Beesley & Dale played upfront , so if he did , he kept them quiet , as I think Jerry only got on the score sheet with a penalty.

He did, played very well in that game looked very composed on the ball and read the game well.. We really were out of sorts in that game though.

I've known Rhys & family for a while, not spoke to them in a bit but he was close to signing on loan last year.

Fantastic player on the ball and reads the game well, I think physically he might struggle in the Championship but could be at the start of a glittering career.
