Firestick advice again

I’m out of contract with sky at the end of next month and even though I’ve spoken to them, threatening to leave, and they’re not budging on their price.

First of all, who does this stuff, how much is it, can you watch basic tv like itv and bbc, wife likes soaps so that’s important, can you record, pause etc?

We’d have TVs in four rooms, how does that work?

Understand if there’s other threads on this, but can’t find them.

Reluctant to quote individuals on here who offer this service but ask around and I'm sure you'll get a contact from someone.

You have to a) buy a Firestick circa £50 then b) pay a annual fee of again circa £50 to whoever supplies you with the IPTV service

You get all the channels that you can wish for but usually have no option to record but can pause anything.

You will get access to films and series that are on all streaming services and new films within weeks of them being in the cinema all within the price as well as PPV sports.

You will need a firestick per TV and whoever you get your supply from will probably charge an extra circa £20 per annum per stick for "multiroom".

Or you can just do it legally and subscribe to what you want, you can watch live TV the same as Freeview and you download apps for stuff like Netflix. If you pay Johnny Hookystick he's going to get you premium channels but none of the streaming services.

If you want to stay with Sky just put on your Pokerface and initiate the 31 day cancellation process.

Lay it on thick that you just cannot afford the monthly charge in the current economic climate, citing this and that...

I guarantee that after a couple of weeks into this they will be doing all they can to woo you back, at a vastly reduced monthly charge.
