First Half v Second Half

I actually thought we did OK first half and were matching them throughout the pitch whilst never really looking in any danger of conceding but at the same time never looking like scoring.
The comment was made before the match that they're a side that always concede but who can also score (recent 4-3 and 3-2 results proof of that) but we didn't give it a go in front of goal. What was most frustrating was the amount of times we were in decent positions, had the chance to cross and there was only Bees in the box and the cross rarely got near him.
Interesting that Wellens said pre-match he trains his teams to play for 90 minutes, I often feel with our side if we have to come from behind we've given it our all in the first 45 mins and there is little left to give.
I'd like to think that Critchley, if he is going to carry on playing this system, has a very long shopping list for the summer and the diplomacy to move a lot of this squad on.

The loss of Gabriel was a big factor. He was setting up attacks, winning a lot of ball, and his presence meant their full back wasn't getting forward, meaning our press was more effective.

That went completely after half time.

To then lose Lyons meant we were wide open down our right. Putting Virtue in there was bizarre.
