First premier manager to be sacked

Got to be arteta . Shame cos he comes across as decent

Arsenal should have gone for Ancelotti instead before he went to Everton

There’s a lot of ego on the board at Arsenal…they make the decisions and no one else. I can see them trying to brazen it out for a good while longer.

I reckon first manager across the leagues will be Chris Hughton.

The Derby fans are ITK - they've just been singing "You're getting sacked in the morning". 😆

Derby leading 1-0 v Forest at half-time. Forest look clueless - none of them are distinguishing themselves, including Gabriel.

Don't know the first though Arteta looks favourite at this very moment, but Patrick Viera is certain to be sacked at sometime this season. Caused havoc at his last managerial outing in his home country at Nice. Fan and player power brought him down in the end. Destabilised a decent club and headed off with a bundle of cash and two fingers in the air. Expect something similar at Palace.

Perhaps not a bad thing that Gabriel stayed at Forrest - if he's not got any 'fight to survive' in him.

Citeh really need to keep this tight now and not risk pushing anyone forward.
Unlucky, Bournemouth let me down on a 5 fold for nearly £700, had a decent cash out offered but didn’t take it
Depressing day what with the pool result as well
Cheer yourself up and watch the gunfighter by Eric kissack if you’ve not seen it,I mentioned it on the joke thread yesterday, it’s only 8 minutes

One of those days all round, never take cash outs regardless.

I'll have a watch when I've taken the dog out, cheers 👍

Shows how far the FA Cup has fallen. No one ever uses it in Arteta's defence.
A lifetime of memories if you won it in the 70s , now no one can remember what happened last year.

Arsenal are getting who they appointed…
Little managerial experience, who clearly doesn’t motivate players…I thought xhaka was awesome in the euros..diff player for Arsenal…

We always rated & liked Chris Houghton & can't understand how his performance dropped so far, so rapidly.

Their squad is a mess.

They lost a lot of players over the summer and haven't replaced them, the forwards are all over 30 and seem to be showing their age, apart from Gabriel the only senior FB they have is Bong, who is 33 and bad, they've got Harry Arter and Carl Jenkinson on £60,000 p/w between them training with the U-23s and Jack Colback on £40,000 p/w who by all accounts should be doing the same.

Their CEO (who appears to be in charge of transfers) is a 35 year old American who played a handful of games at pro level who seems to have moved from scout to "technical director" to CEO in a very short space of time, he was appointed in July and there were rumours that he'd resigned doing the rounds yesterday, so the suspicion must be that he's out of his depth.

Watford manager is always in danger of being sacked early doors. They don’t mess about there.

That said though, Arteta can’t be far off.

Norwich will be a waste of time in the Prem as usual but don’t think they’d pot the manager.

Last time Watford did the rapid managerial shuffle they ended up relegated and wishing they could have back the one they'd sacked early season. Let's see if they've learned anything from that...

Steve Bruce appears resigned to the fact that he'll soon be going. I like him Steve, as he's always honest in his interviews, and has a footballers face that only his mother could love 😖. He'll receive a good payout and won't be out of work for long.
I then hope the whinging Magpies get the manager their constant moaning deserves! 🤣
