Five stages of grief

1) Denial
2) Anger
3) Bargaining
4) Depression
5) Acceptance

Lots on here still at stage 2) and 3). 'get rid of Mansford', 'Sadler should have ...', etc, etc

Get yourselves to stage 5). You will feel better for it.
Time to put right the mistakes and go again, come back stronger, get the stadium finished and try and get promoted with fans in attendance 👍

Always 👍

As Mac said, nailed on for months, I'd accepted it before we kicked off last night.

It'd be nice to see the nobbers bottle it and not make the play offs but in the cold light of day they'll still be a Championship side next season.

Our family are at 5, & we consider this to be good development for our little Seasider grandson, as he continues on his tangerine pathway.
For months it's been like owning a beloved sick dog, knowing it's going to die & just waiting for the day to arrive. Then relief when it's finally over.
I was brought up believing - "it's OK to cry when you win, but never when you lose".
We've lost, there's no tears, just frustration with the board & Critchley (who left us in the poo), as relegation was completely avoidable.
We're now nervous about how SS will rebuild our club, hope the work has started and that our supporters will soon be updated.
Relegation alters nothing for each of us .... born a Seasider & will die a Seasider.

The reality is we were doomed when Mccarthy came in and dropped points at home to relegation rivals.
As long as Dobbie gets appointed I am looking forward to next season, as the style of play is great, just need the right mix of players to make, it work

I was at 5 last night but seem to have reverted to 4 today!

The thought of playing Stevenage away perhaps next season...

I don’t care if we knew of the inevitable, it still hurts when it happens!
Feel a little better now as todays results would have meant extra agony if we had won last night

Stage 5 since it became clear we were expecting Appleton to turn things around after the World Cup.
