What is new is our govt using similar tactics to fleece the taxpayer. Whether it be brexit (remember the govt paying 12m to a newly formed shipping company with no history) or PPE during covid. Its happening here on a scale that hadn't been seen before.They're not even remotely bothered about hiding it.
