Fleetwood Or Afc fylde ?

wonder how Pilley is going to be affected with the price of gas and Electric going up so much - he said he was ok before as he pre bought but that must have run out by now and he must be having to re buy? Anybody in the know?
 
Not too bothered other than a general interest, equally it isn't a competition between the two clubs.

Fylde appear to have slipped a little, but presumably will end up in the playoffs, where anything can, and does, happen. Gateshead or Brackley probably to go up and then Chorley, Southport and Fylde locally maybe in three of the six playoff places.

Fleetwood... looking likely that Doncaster, Gillingham and Crewe will be relegated. Then one from about five others, including Fleetwood and Morecambe.
 
I hold AFC Fylde in the same category as Squires Gate so hold no rivalry. For me they just provide a good, local, alternative option to getting my football fix when Blackpool aren't in action - and the bar at Fylde is fantastic,

Fleetwood relegated it is!
 
Maybe because I don’t and haven’t lived on the Fylde Coast for the past 44 years but does it really matter to me if you are a Blackpool fan🤔.

Personally I don’t wish either club any harm ( and that is probably the wrong word) unless we happen to be playing them and at present neither is very likely.

And Blackpool reserves played home games at Highbury for a while in the 2000s. Plus there was the annual preseason game at Highbury, including the first appearance of Wesley Hoolahan as a trialist.
 
Don't really understand the antipathy towards the Cods because (apart from a few idiots) they're pretty harmless, and the rivalry was fun while the Os tenure prevailed.

I've no idea if their EFL tenure can be long term but Pilleys vid tonight demonstrates how they plan to continue, by bringing through young talent and selling it on.
Poolfoot is an excellent and now established mini centre of excellence which is something that Simon has to work towards here, and of course re establish what worked so well for many years. Ball,Hughes and even Ronson to name just a few.
 
Fleetwood but not because I hate the club but because pilley has single handedly put the whole countries utility bills up,don’t believe what you read it’s all down to him & that’s a fact I’m in the know when it comes to utility bills
