Blackpool FC has dedicated its fixture against Portsmouth to a crucial charity that supports people out of fuel and food poverty – and a special guest will be marking the occasion.
Utilita Giving - the official charity partner of Utilita Energy, our Back of shirt sponsor - supports individuals, families and households who are having difficulty affording fuel and food across England, Scotland and Wales.
The charity will run several activities on the day of the Sky Bet League One clash, which is taking place at Bloomfield Road this Saturday 9 March.
UG ambassador, David James MBE, will be helping a bucket collection on the day. Fans will be able to snap a photo with the former England and Premier League goalkeeper.
This takeover will focus on gathering food and cash donations for Blackpool FC Community Trust (BFCCT) and Utilita Giving.
Those attending the match will also have the opportunity to win prizes in return for their generosity.
