Football

Mid Lancs was as good as it ever got for me but I still play 5 a side and I’ve always been better at 5 a side than 11’s.

Used to play for Scottish n Newcastle brewery in the Chorley league half time refreshments were good

prem league sundays
had a stint playing west lancs div 1 on a saturday but missed watching the Seasiders so jacked it in.

Player of the season two years running playing midfield for our work’s team.
It was only ‘friendlies’, but we did have some pretty good players, and a few really bad ones (it wasn’t easy to drop the bosses!).
Played Saturday and Sunday league for a few years as well, but didn’t really enjoy that as much,

My Grandad and his twin brother both played for Fleetwood. I'm told he was offered terms by Bolton but decided against it.

No way of knowing if that's right, but if it is he might have played in the 1923 Cup Final.

I once played wearing Tony Green's actual number 8 shirt - it made me so nervous my legs wobbled, I couldn't concentrate and I had a crap game!
Give me another chance and I promise to give everything for 90 minutes.

Prem Sunday league for 10 years
NW Counties
I did also play on a pitch somewhere in Yorkshire which was on a hill. Is that the high level you're looking for?
