Forest price hikes

As inflation falls to 3.2%, Forest have announced some eye watering increases in season ticket prices.

Among the increases....
- Youth season tickets have been changed with the age bracket now 14-17, compared to 12-19-year-olds last season.
- A child's ticket can be bought for those between four and 13 years old for a blanket price of £190, up from last season's cheapest child's season card of £90, an 111% increase.
- A senior ticket in the Zone Two bracket of the Brian Clough Lower has gone up from £385 to £500, a rise of almost 30%, while adult prices in the same area have increased by 27%.
- An adult ticket for the majority of the Trent End Upper and Lower has increased by 22.5%.

The first two of those are particularly daft, discouraging young fans.
It's remarkable that they don't realise that the 'experience' they're trying to sell won't be there if they price out the average fan from going to games.

They're trying to justify this by saying they need to be competitive, but the overall benefit to the club will be minimal - only c. 7% of their revenue comes from matchday income.
And every position higher in the table is worth £2.2m, roughly what the Supporters’ Trust estimate will be made by the club from the price hikes.

Are they after the football tourists who the London clubs attract? Are they going to copy Fulham and put a swimming pool on top of the Trent End?

The more this nonsense spreads through the Premier League, the more I think you can stuff it up your arse.

Nothing compared to motor insurance price hikes 😩
Just got our renewal quote ….up by around 18% and that’s after a loyalty bonus😂.
Trouble is I hate going on line to get an alternative quote as it is like treading in treacle going through the questions especially when the car is registered with the wife’s name( she was the buyer at the time) but I am the main driver but the policy is in her name.
Have to be done but not looking forward to it.🫣

They've always got Notts County.

My renewal last year showed a 35% increase. I have been driving for over 60 years without a claim of any kind.🤷

If fans want to complain they should aim there disgust at the wage bill, that’s what drives the need for increase, although I have to admit they went a bit mad with how many players they bought, but thanks for the Bowler money 😂

One claim and that was a very very long time ago and well before the turn of the current century and just a minor bump.
The reality is we are paying for the twats who steal cars, the boy ( and not so young) racers and the uninsured.
But we need our cars whether we like it or not, especially given our rubbish transport infrastructure and high prices even for that.
It does raise a lot of revenue to pay for services mind you with IPT😂
