Forest's Schedule and Team for Sunday.

They play us on the 7th and then don't have another game until Sat 20th (for no apparent reason) and so doubt they'll be resting anyone

Each Prem team plays one game on either the weekend off 13 or 20. So 5 Prem games each weekend.

It’s possible that Forest allowed a number of their players to head home or to the sun after last Saturdays game for a 10 day break. But given the size of their squad they are well able to do that.

I'm sure they will play a massively changed team of fringe players, however, I'm sure those players will be doing everything they can to impress the new manager so not great for us.

ITS a great opportunity to throw caution to the wind and just EFFING go for it. if Forest thrown on a squad based side then hey ho. Went to Leicester City about twenty years ago. WE did alright. And we managed to get a replay. Or was it the other way round. I know they went through but we gave them a good game. Repeat and Rinse. Aston Villa in 2015. Another decent Fa cup performance. its definitely do able.

Forest fan here. I actually joined last year for our cup game then...that went well!

As for this weekend. There will definitely be some rotation as we have 6 players going to the AFCON of which 3 perhaps 4 of them would be considered first choice at the moment. Tough to predict how Nuno will approach the game as he might want to keep our recent good form going and go with a similar team where possible or he might decide to change the entire XI with a key game at Brentford coming up after.

My line up prediction:

Vlachodimos

Williams
Worrall
Omobamidele
Toffolo

Mangala
Yates

Hudson-Odoi
Origi
Elanga

thats a serious looking team. if we get a replay then that would be brilliant. NUNO has made Forest real contenders for a strong finish in the PREM.

I've just realised I only put 10 players in too. I'd have said that Andrey Santos who we have on loan from Chelsea would get a game in midfield but it wouldn't surprise me if his loan was terminated as he's had basically no minutes at all.

you must have a cast of thousands. we could do with a couple . how many loans do you have at the moment.

Heard Origi is injured or recovering from one. Either way. Port Vale just smashed us 3-0 at their place so you’ll have no worries.

We play 3-5-2 every week. We like to pass it around the back 3 for ages and our manager counts that at “dominating the game.” Both of our wing backs are actually wingers and can’t defend so just attack us down the sides and you’re laughing.

Enjoy your easiest win of the season

Spot on Athers.
I've said something similar to my fellow bfc supporters.
Neil Critchley thinks and says it a lot in his interviews especially away from home. It's becoming cliche when he says "We were in control of the game for most parts" listen to him and his interviews. It's a bit delusional.
We all know that Passing it side to side with 3 centre halves and back to your goalkeeper isn't in control it's boring and it kills off a chance of a quick counter attack or a fast direct defence splitting forward ball, ultimately allowing the opposition to regroup and defend.

I can accept giving it a go and losing. Boring football and losing making me really consider binning my season ticket off

I think we have to put out our best available team, what's the point in getting to the third round and playing the reserves?
It's not like our players have international commitments and mid week European fixtures to contend with.
Find your best team and pick it until they lose form, get injured or are suspended.
Looking at our squad 4 1 2 3 might work.
I'd go with
O'Donnell
Gabriel Ekpiteta Casey Husband
Dougall
Dembele Morgan
Hamilton Rhodes Joseph
That's assuming they are all fit but you get the idea.

He will never not play 3-5-2. Too stubborn and no plan B

If that's the case then they might not be too upset having a postponement if the river flooding makes a difference. Although given they have sold out there quota plus the ones we have sent back that might not be the case.
