Been following Bamber Bridge this season who are in Northern premier league- many Blackpool youngsters have been loaned there in recent seasons , manager Jamie Milligan & assistant John Hills are ex pool players. Brett Ormerod had a spell a few years ago.
Currently Mark Cullen is playing up front but is way off the pace . . Last night they played a Lancashire cup tie away at Chorley who fielded a certain Nathan Delfouneso & are managed by Andy Preece.Cullen scored a penalty for Brig & was substituted , Delfouneso scored the equaliser & was substituted. The game ended 1-1 with Brig winning on pens. Both players are still relatively young & played at a much a higher level only recently so I don’t know if I’m happy to have seen them in opposition or saddened that they are playing for pocket money in tier 6 & 7.

Mark Cullen has had a tough time. In his first start for Fylde he suffered a serious knee injury that looked like it would end his career. I didn't know he was now at Brig. I'm sure he'll be glad to be playing at any level. I think he's one of the few players to have scored for clubs in the Premier League, Championship, League 1 and League 2

Cullen was brilliant for us, a proper goal scorer. Pity it was during the era where the club was imploding and quite rightly those with sense stopped going to Bloomers.

A great servant for the Pool who made a huge contribution.

Hang on .. someone called the Fonz waxing lyrical about Delfouenso 🙄 Hello Nathan 👋👋
I did suspect someone may think that when I posted - definitely not him- purely in homage! I was shocked to see his name on the Chorley team sheet & immediately saw the irony of Brig fielding Cullen. When Delfouenso was substituted he cut a very lonely figure in the dugout & he left before the final whistle.

Didn't he walk round applauding the fans as he left?
