Just seen taht Ipswich are looking to sign a striker and are will to pay £3m in January. If that happens then this might not be out of the relm of possibility if we lose Rhodes.
 
Suspect a lot of clubs will be enquiring about Ladapo - know we've been discussing him, to add to Greg Leigh and Kyle Edwards we recently signed from the Tractor Boys. Might end up Ipswich B team... 😅
 
Two things

1. If I were Jordan Rhodes I would be seriously thinking of joking a team in January where my goals count a lot and
2. What sort of dream world are you in, if you think Ladapo on the brink of the Prem , would come to Blackpool !?

Judging by the extensive interview he did with Radio Lancs, I think Jordan is now all about family life and enjoying what is left of his career.
It's why I think he will stay with us and actually if we're still in this league next season maybe even sign with us next season.

Ultimately it isn't his decision though, I'm sure he will be consulted but if Uddersfield decide to recall him there's nothing Jordan or Blackpool Football Club can do.
 
Freddie Ladapo would be a fantastic signing but there is no chance he will want to come to a club that will be plying its trade in League 1 next season

YOU know what i listened to that with Andy Bays. head says money talks but his heart is here. More disruption. And possibly a coaching role.

I understand your statement but having listened to numerous football podcasts it would be very easy to "down tools" as a player and let Huddersfield know that's the route you plan to take. I think Rhodes is far to professional to do this obviously .....

You’re quite correct, if they recall him there’s nothing either he nor the club can do to prevent it. However, if he seriously doesn’t want to go, he can make it patently obvious they will be paying him for nothing. If a player wants to move it’s virtually impossible to make them stay.🤞

1) Jordan can’t play for another team this season
 
If Rhodes goes back Billy Sharp is a free agent and experienced goalscorer at this level
