Rather than describing it (i.e., promotion via the play-offs), a little fancifully, as being 'very much alive', being ever the realist, I'd be more inclined to refer to it in the following terms; as being 'a rapidly dwindling, though still, mathematically speaking, attainable dream, but, conversely, one which is ultimately in distinct danger of disappearing, for however long, into the ether ...'
