"The team deserved a lot of criticism today… Blackpool were on the beach and probably the poorest side we have played this season other than Cardiff away, yet we laboured for 90 plus minutes without creating much or note."

Not according to the Albion fans I spoke to on the way home, and there were a good few who would disagree with that comment.

Well they should be beating teams like Blackpool and they got what they wanted but obviously they were not happy with the style in which they won.

Moaning bastards. They got lucky, Pool should have been 2 up by the time Carroll scored.

"Moaning bastads"............................I thought they were cardboard cutouts until they scored.

We played ok but tried too much 3/4 times in great positions every time hesitating to shoot. Bowler looks like he’s going and Dougall looks knackered.

How many times this season have we edged games but drawn/lost? Lots of areas to improve but been an great season and I think a section of our fans don’t actually realise how big an a achievement it’s been.

I thought we were bloody brilliant today and would have been good value for three points...just my opinion like, but as a resident of Brum I've been to a few games at the Hawthorne's and following conversations with the locals they're in agreement that they're rubbish and we seem to have a clear way of playing - we just need to bide our time and let Neil do his thing. No more idiots please...

Agree as long as we keep critch (our best signing) then we will be just fine for a long time.

The general support in this league has been ** shit, a lot of home crowds just come across as entitled bellends to be honest, I really really hope we don't become like that as we're going to be in this league or above for a long long time.
Can’t see it happening, after all the boycott years and we know the championship is a decent level for our football club I think we’re just happy to support our team loud and proud for 90 minutes as long as we get maximum effort like we did yesterday then it doesn’t matter if we lose.

I thought Critchley for one, was in awe of the post match support. Considering we'd conceded a minute before, it really was a tremendous effort.
Connolly too. I don't think they could quite believe their eyes ( and ears).

We should always remember its about encouragement and support.

Even if you have better players there's no divine right to win, although you can expect more from them.

As long as you get full effort you cant fault the desire. Producing moments of quality can be criticised but no point aiming negative comments directly at the team, maybe online after 😬

Its about expectations though as when just in the prem you expect to come down and bounce back like they always do, with the quality and money they have.

So understandably they're disappointed, but no need to turn on some players.
