Fury fight

Ngannou didn't read the script obviously. It was meant to be an easy fight against a guy who had never boxed before, leading to another multi multi million fight in Saudi with Usyk.
The judges must have shit themselves as the fight developed. Only one thing to do blatantly rob the winning fighter.
No wonder kids want to watch youtubers scrap.

Definitely didn't help that Fury was at his heaviest ever fighting weight, he looked lethargic from the first round to me. He'd be nowhere near that weight if/when he fights Usyk, he'd probably be 1-2 stone lighter.

Fury was clearly behind on everyone's scorecard but the judges, him and his team will have known he was losing the fight comfortably as they're not stupid. Yet the last couple of rounds where he blatantly needed a knockout he barely threw a punch, a World Champion would have come out swinging if he thought he had any chance of losing the decision, they knew it was fixed for him to win on the scorecards.

Calling himself the greatest boxer of his generation my arse he has had a total of 6 world title fights 3 against the same big hitting very poor boxer 2 against people he has beat before and the other against a finished a old man .Last night I think he lost against someone having their first boxing match .Meanwhile usyk has had 12 world title fights .People are taken in by the carefully managed heavyweights .Boxing has gone to the dogs it's corrupt without a doubt

He looked shell shocked after that. I'm not sure he even threw a punch in the final two rounds. Bizarre performance, but credit to Ngannou, h out-boxed Fury all night.

I didn't think the judges would let Fury lose, but those scores just show that it's money before integrity.

Tell you what I'm finding sport hard at the moment. Shit referees at football, NFL, Rugby Union and now the ultimate insult this fight.

A total joke. What's the point? And I'm a massive Fury fan. He got battered.
Nail on the head there Mac. Thought it was just me but the officiating in most sports is absolutely diabolical at times and killing my interest in the sports I've grown up with and loved all my life. Tommy Fury won the other week with very dubious judges scores too and l thought he lost comfortably!

The boxing world wants to see a Fury v Usyk fight in December there’s already millions £££££££ riding on it so had Fury not won last night it wouldn’t have happened plain and simple so the decision wasn’t difficult to work out why it went the way it did.

This was a non title fight so not sure why it would have derailed the Usyk fight which would have still been for the undisputed crown regardless of the outcome

PS has anyone ever become the lineal world heavyweight champion in their first fight ?!?

Yep spot on Jaffa 👍

Warren has just pulled Fury out of the Usyk fight. It's never going to happen just like him ducking AJ.
To be fair there is no way Fury can fight Usyk in December and be in top condition after last night. He needs to rest for a couple of months and then start to get ready for the fight in April.

He is British and a superstar.

Get behind him💪

Superstar ?
3 Wilder fights
Beat Klitchko
Beat Chisora and Joe Parker
Lost to Ngannou...in my opinion.

Might never see him in a ring again after that shit show last night. The legacy was lost in 10 rounds against a guy who never boxed before.

Listen to Adam Catterall's reply to Talksport being banned from the fight, absolutely destroys Fury's nonsense.

Strange as it might seem to anyone who watched the fight, but Fury threw more punches and landed more punches. I know that's not everything, but it explains why the judges' decision isn't so far fetched as it appears.
Confused Head Scratching Emoticons

A definite signal for Tyson to take the £60m and call it a day before he has to face Usyk though.

What a joke boxing has become, hope he does the right thing and appears in Christmas Pantos instead of stepping in the ring again.

Three-time world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis, speaking on TNT Sports: "I thought Tyson Fury won. Ngannou really surprised me, he showed really good poise and patience."

The old Canadian dream on the payroll then.
British as you or I, born and lived here in the East End till he was 12.

As soon as he's hit with a decent shot he's down, his skill is or was his awkwardness and not to be hit.

That's why he tried to jab people to death with his size in the past on the backfoot.

Him on the front foot might be enough to beat a one dimensional wilder, but is it enough to beat others? Not tonight.

His punch power is poor compared to many big hitters.

You're right though, I dont watch as much boxing these days, as it's pretty farcical. Talk of fury being the best ever.... I think some of the old school would destroy him.

He doesn't go that wobbly when hit it seems but goes down like a felled tree.

All of the big heavyweights have flaws.

I don't know if he'll beat him as size matters, but people were saying it'd be one sided, not for me, Usyk has a big chance.

Fury is not getting any quicker, his size, build and lifestyle probably mean he'll deteriorate quicker than some.

AJ went shit and defensive, but if he's at it is very dangerous. If fury turned up like that he'd be ko'd by AJ.

Didn't land a punch in the last round and must have known it was close which is strange .Fury has not beat one decent fighter other than klitch who was way past it .I include wilder in that as he was the worst boxer ever to hold the title he is shocking just has a punch .To say he has a legacy is a joke he has a legacy for beating bums that's it .They are doing the same with Joshua who has had mainly even worse opponents and has been beat everytime he has stepped up from mexican roadsweepers .

None of them would have stood a chance against M Tyson Lennox Lewis Holyfield et al and that generation .

As for the Ali era . Fury AJ etc wouldn’t have even been contenders .

Neither did Ngannou, if you want to take the title off the champ then go for it, he didn’t so he missed his chance.

Fury still the man.

I don’t think he ever fought Joseph Parker. He fought Chisora twice and also Dylian Whyte. Parker has fought other Britons, AJ, Whyte and I think he fought Joe Joyce
