Michael Appleton has confirmed Jordan Gabriel is likely to require surgery which will keep him out until the New Year.

Gary Madine should be available tomorrow, but the game will come too soon for James Husband. Rhys Williams is making progress and could be back for Hull.

Are modern footballers made out of balsa wood and sticky backed plastic ?

How the fuck is it even possible for sitting on a stool to result in the need for an operation.

I couldn’t begin to count the number of accidents I’ve had over my lifetime and never required surgery…

Phil Bardsley until end of Jan… you heard it here first.
They need to do something as Callum Connolly can't cover every position every game and one more injury or suspension to any of the current back four and the cracks will appear when having to shoehorn a big part of the season into a short period of time.

I’ve kept to my exercise regime - every day, for the last year. Did it during lockdown as well. Try to do min 5k run a day, plus other weights work, etc.
During the last year alone, I’ve had calf / groin / Achilles issues. Ran or walked them all off in next to no time. No pills. No treatment. No medical help.

Jack Moore may be able to step up or failing that recall either Casey or Tharme from their loan spells.

Over trained, over dieted, at a guess.

I used to work with a fella who after a Friday night out, often never turned in on a Saturday. He was always really unlucky as he said he'd had a bad burger/ takeaway that had made him ill.

Tenuous link to this story, but there was probably a stool involved with him too at some point. 👍
