Forest are in horrible financial worries, so I really hope we can secure this lad on a permanent. The downside of Critch developing these players is that clubs won't want to let 'em go, think of how significant of an improvement we've seen on Gabriel since his first appearance.

Other than his skill I really enjoy his attitude. It's reminiscent of players we had in previous promotion-winning seasons. Very positive and always cheering other players on. You often see him cheering down the camera or cheering at another player being interviewed. He seems to have really bought into the club, Critch, and the promotion push. I think that spirit goes a very long way, especially when the wider team has it.

If you look at Gabriel, Ekpiteta and Ballard they have all developed as players as the season has progressed. Gabriel is also a fantastic athlete who can run all day.
