Talked an awful lot of sense last night on the commentary. Always liked him as a manager and probably saved us from the National League despite working under the O's. Because it was NAPM I can't say I ever followed that closely what he was like as a manager for us - anyone remember? Was he attacking, defensive etc?

I was in the hotel having a coffee waiting for my daughter who had an appointment at nhs there when he came in with the players for lunch. He was friendly and you could see he had a good rapport with the players. Very difficult times, but he did well imo in the circumstances

He always sounds a bit monotone , but if you see a video of him talking, his face is very expressive . So not as dull as you might believe. He did a good job for us in very difficult circumstances.

I always thought he strayed a bit towards the dark (defensive) side.
Not sure he's the right foil for Critch. He'd be better alongside The Dobster.

Also thought he came across really well in commentary on Tuesday night, very knowledgeable and seems like a nice guy.

Sounds like he really enjoys it, he spent half of the game laughing. He was impressed with Kouassi when he came on, he had a right giggle when he shrugged their defender off like he was a grown man playing in a kids game.
