Talked an awful lot of sense last night on the commentary. Always liked him as a manager and probably saved us from the National League despite working under the O's. Because it was NAPM I can't say I ever followed that closely what he was like as a manager for us - anyone remember? Was he attacking, defensive etc?
 
Gary Bowyer is a good man and a good manager. It would seem that he expects a level of managerial autonomy that few owners are likely to concede.
Perfect for us then, Simon employs them and lets them get on doing whatever they want, even if they’re happy when we lose 3-1 at home

I always thought he strayed a bit towards the dark (defensive) side.
Not sure he's the right foil for Critch. He'd be better alongside The Dobster.
 
Because of the the boycott he didn't have the pressure on him that managers now have post Oyston so difficult to judge. Never understood why he left when he did so and early in a season as well? He's not really pulled up any trees since either has he.
