No, I find it more reasonable than any other provider.

Lots of people don't like Lineker, which is fine, but you can't argue that he doesn't know what he's talking about, it's rare that the host is actually an expert, he's also England through and through and one of our greatest ever players.

He never mentions politics when he's presenting the football, it's probably the furthest thing from his mind.

You're paying for one of the most respected footballers in the world to present a football show, something he's excellent at, when he's explaining how Harry Kane was a different player tonight because of his goal on Tuesday it's from a position of having been there and done that.

I couldn't care less about his politics, much as I couldn't give a toss who Harry Kane voted for in the last election or what Gareth Southgate thinks about international fishing rights.
 
Lineker and Shearer have lost all credibility after casually joking about the Italian player who went to ground and miraculously joined the play seconds later. It needs to be condemned at source, not casually accepted as a part of the game. Both of them have lost whatever bot of respect I had for them and it wasnt a lot to be honest.
 
I am no fan of Gary Lineker but he is a good presenter and is very effective at expressing the emotion that many of us are experiencing at this very exciting time.

They've done this a few times but as players they often punched a few in and went down rather easily in the opposition box. Personally I'm happier with proper journalists doing the shows like Des Lynam and Mark Chapman accompanied by the more articulate ex pros like Jenas and Kilbane.

Totally agree with this. Tonight's panel was the best I've seen so far. I am interested in what Lineker, Shearer and Lampard have to say as they have been there, done that, and it interests me to get their opinions and stories of what it was like to play in similar environments. Tye graphic showing that they are the top 2 scorers for England in major tournaments spoke volumes.

I am not interested in the slightest in what Alex Scott, Ellie Aluko, Ashley Williams, Robbie Savage etc has to say about how she won 47 FAc Cups and 10 league titles with no pressure, no one watching and no media implications of she won, lost or drew.

I don't give a toss about his politics, but he is IMHO a very very good host of a football panel

Yup absolutely great points and a very reasonable opinion,although I dont like Lineker and Shearer. Too much tokenism and an element of political/social correctness with the selection of some panelists
