Motormouth, but very entertaining. A lot of ground covered in the interview, and some interesting thoughts on football governance, Bury FC, club ownership, politics, business etc, etc.
Didn’t agree with all of it, but very passionate and doesn’t hold back.

Likewise - agreed with most of it. Compared to some of what is out there he is generally talking a lost of sense, particularly regarding the Football levelling up agenda.

I love the way he bangs on about managers not being given enough time then goes to his little piss pot club and sacks managers willy nilly.

Slates the owners of Man United, they pick up a few points and he stops.

Hypocrite that bloke

Thought he'd be a nightmare when he joined Sky as a pundit, was pleasantly surprised at how good he was, enjoyed all his analysis and work there.

Found he's become tedious recently, don't agree with anything he says around an independent regulator, and found he spouts off about a lot of stuff he doesn't do in practice.

Good Youtube channel though.

He puts quite a bit of his own money into local projects and charities by all accounts. I would still find him annoying to argue with but at the end would probably think I enjoyed that

Strange how Salford aren't a Prem club by now really! For someone who knows so much, post-football career his ownership and management skills have left a lot to be desired!
