Good manager proven track record, get him now so he’s got rest of the season to assess the squad to hit the ground running. Failing that Ainsworth. But not Dobbie or Gary bloody Bowyer, get either of Rowett or Ainsworth and they’d get the current squad promoted next season. I’ve said it before we’ve got the strongest squad in the division in my opinion it’s just been badly managed so other than the expense of paying critchley and his crew off I don’t actually think much money needs spending to be up there next season.
But now isn’t the time for a novice like Dobbie or Bowyer who has been sacked from his last 3 jobs.

Bowyer was sacked from his last job after winning the Scottish Champ with Dundee and getting manager of the season. He fell out with the board.

You started off so well then mentioned Ainsworth

Clueless

I'd have no problem with Bowyer, but that's mostly based on listening to him on commentary. Seems to have knowledge and personality, which he managed to hide pretty well in the past!

I'd have appointed Dobbie in the summer, if Critchley was to go (and I don't think he will btw), I'd appoint Dobbie if I was SS.

Bowyer certainly is not a novice.

Personally, I'd like the next manager to have no previous link to us at all, be it in a playing, coaching or managing capacity.

That would tell me we've cast the net far and wide to find the best man for the job.
You and me both. We must be telepathic

Rowett is a good option imho.. however I think Critchley will get the first half of next season which is a mistake in my opinion. I have not done so few (4) away games since 1980 and I’m done for this season..the brand of football is just about watchable if you are winning and grinding out results but is awful when you are losing games. I don’t want Dobbie either.

Not sure how on earth you've come to the conclusion we've got the strongest squad in the division.

If we keep critch, unless he turns the football around I would dread to see ST sales as its just utter rubbish boring sideways backwards football.

I love that we bring everyone back and its then normally chaos in the box and then when we do get it clear it's back in as everyone is in the box.... it is comedy but not funny

Happy if rowett... but more likely Sam Ellis! 🙄

The frustrating thing about all this is - we know SS won't swallow his pride and replace NC now.
We know NC is a greedy egotist, so he won't fall on his sword.
We as supporters are stuck with what we have to endure.
The only people who are tangerine through to death are us supporters. Not owners (although SS is an exception as he is also a supporter), not the manager, not the coaches, no (modern day) player, just us supporters. Yet we can't get our hapless manager replaced!

Talking your usual crass rubbish. Utter bollocks!

Rowett turned us down in 2014 according to Wiki

Please highlight a job Gary Rowett has taken in the last 10 years where he’s been successful. What proven track record?

Probably at the moment the majority of supporters would go for anyone who is available because of all the negativity towards Critch but there isn’t a cat in hells chance that SS will replace him at this moment in time.
We are 15 points above the drop zone so, unless a mega disaster happens, we won’t be relegated.
By the same logic we are only 8 points off the play offs so still a chance we could sneak in.
Ok, the football we have been witnessing lately makes that option very unlikely but it is still open.
What concerns me though is if Cheltenham can beat us easily then what will Peterborough do on Saturday.
If they had any spotters at the game last night they will thinking it will be a stroll in the park
We will never know what goes on in the dressing room or behind the scenes but to me Critch should be calling a team meeting where the players can openly speak their minds without fear of being penalised in any shape or form
Maybe though, as some have suggested, Critch is stubborn and adopts the “I’m the manager and you will do it my way.” approach.

Agree

No justification to give critchley anything more. Be a huge and costly mistake if Sadler does that.
