Gate outside the North Stand

Instead of all this nonsense about songs, please could somebody actually ask the question, and get to the bottom of the gate being closed outside the North Stand? It creates hundreds or thousands of people having to walk all the way round the ground where they are then lead into away fans anyway.

If the SLO has any self pride he will get this one addresses and sorted ASAP. It's the most controversial point currently within the fanbase (apart from Breasts and vagina songs that nobody actually cares about)

I asked one of the stewards by the gate last week. He said it opens 15 minutes after the end of a game if there are significant numbers of away fans or maybe earlier if there aren't! Not much help was he?

From conversations I've had with numerous stewards, I don't think they're told much at all, and what they are told usually turns out to be rubbish. Pretty much like the fans was my thought.
 
It really is the most pointless exercise. As you say, you walk all the way around the ground to meet the away fans on Bloomfield road anyway. Most fans leaving through the north gate want to get over revoe park to their cars, would be gone before away fans have even probably left.

You could ask the SLO yourself but please be nice. He usually responds quickly.
 
didn't some-one mention raising that question on the thread asking for questions to the club?

Well I do apologise Mr Look At Me but tomorrow's meeting isn't for anything other than to be told what is happening post the McLean nonsense. I was highlighting it as a matter in its own. I hope they open the gate now but don't let bedwetting Nancy boys through like your woke self

pretty sure it's you who is the "look at me" one on here. Let's face it, you've only just joined the board today and yet here you already are trying to make a name for yourself. First time I've been called a "woke" too. Oh how little you really know. No doubt you'll soon disappear again soon enough too.

Last time the SLO responded about the gate he replied it was staying shut with no explanation.

For anyone who went to the Hibs friendly kind of sums up this nonsense of keeping the gate shut forced onto BR which was also closed and it wasn't until a fan lifted a barrier we could get onto Central drive even Sarah from the ticket office couldn't get into work utter farce.

Why can't we just let everyone out same as 99.9% of the away grounds with no hassle.

Bit let's give 2000 more away fans so you can wait a lot longer to be allowed down that way 🤣
