Be great to sign him. Gotta hope Shef Wed stay up and then don't want him. If they go down they'll surely call him back.

He's out of contract in the summer
He will be looking for a payday somewhere
Perhaps we will be able to keep him, a lot depends on his personal circumstances. He may be looking at playing abroad for instance.
 
He had a great game today as did most of the players.
True grit and fighting for eachother against top of the league with 10 men.
Thought Rhodes deliberately left arm straight to avoid an elbow!....harsh that red!!!
Thought Gabriel was "amazing" I love the way he gets up & down the park, he is a balanced footballer & a class act!
I thought Casey when efficient when he came on too!
Hope Hubby's injury is not serious.
I accept Norburn & Byers offer a bit more much needed physical presence in midfield but I would like to see Allie Morgan feature a bit more in games if only for 30 minutes.
All in all pretty happy with how the team
Are playing overall now, still not out of play-offs but the lost points away from home against lower teams early season have possibly left us too much to do.

Can agree with you on Casey all though Marvin has been much better lately.

Lyons though hasn’t really done a lot this season and hasn’t hit the levels of last season sadly.

Granted CJ has been useless since his new contract but kept getting picked but Lyons hasn’t been much better.

Andy has been in and out and almost playing cameo roles. No wonder we have not seen the best of him. He could score goals in the Championship, but tactics and lack of opportunities, have held him back.

Lyons is a young lad and needed a run of games . He is a fine prospect who we will lose, to a team managed by someone who understands how to get the best out of his players.

I hope we go for him then, he's a decent player who retains possession and uses it well.
We don't have too many of those.
Unlike some, I like Norburn and Coulson too.
We need to let CJ go along with a few others who have the occasional good games but are woefully weak in reality.

Cj just signed a new 4+ 1 deal at BFC
 
See similarities with Byers & Kenny Dougall. Class acts & possibly too good for League 1, just couldn’t consistently do it to the same standard in the Championship.

Agree with all that except the last bit.

It's a bit Catch 22 with GB. If we go up ( I know) then would we want someone who has been rejected by a struggling club in that league? Don't go up and he'd be a great signing, but I think he'd have plenty of interest offering more money, so he likely wouldn't sign here.

Of course he could be magic for us in the next league, but you get the gamble aspect I'm getting at.

I think we were all hoping Norburn would be that man. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I've never been one to slate our players, Carey, Connolly, CJ imo get so much unwarranted stick, but Norburn just jogs around pointing as the ball goes by. He is my least favourite player since I don't know when?

I like Norburn, although I do think he’s regressed a bit since the start of the season. I remember him making some top notch forward passes, now he seems to stick to the safe option no matter what.

Depends where family is as well. From Ilford, probably lives somewhere over Sheffield way - probably want Championship still and can see he is still at that level.
 
He was OK . . nothing special tonight. A couple of good moments but weak in the challenge.

Virtue on the other hand - in his short cameo - looked more up for it than both Norburn and Byers.
